Spoonify is an independent project built with love — a founder's attempt to fix where recipes live. It's a passion project for foodies: calm, useful, and always focused on the recipe.
Our story
We want recipes to be accessible to everyone.
Like everyone else, I was keeping my cookbook in fifteen places at once — saved Instagram posts, screenshots, half-broken blog links, texts from family. The recipes I cared about were the hardest to find.
Spoonify started as a side project to fix that, and grew into a home for the chefs who wanted somewhere better to publish, and the cooks who wanted somewhere better to look.

Recipes are sacred.
We're a recipe platform, not a content platform. The recipe is the product. Everything else is staging.

Pay the people who feed us.
Monthly subscriptions, subscriber-only recipes, and Stripe payouts. The economics should land in the kitchens of the people writing the recipes.

No distractions.
No autoplaying ads, no fifteen-paragraph SEO intros, no AI-generated content. We refuse to use your attention against you.
